Yup, these are stunning birds. There’s dozens of them in my umbrella tree every day because they love the little red things it produces this time of year. I believe the fruit or whatever it is makes them super hyper and they argue a lot when they are in this tree. I’ve tried to save an Official Positive Mind Positive Vibes Positive Life Rainbow Shirt. Who’s fallen out of the tree but only one survived. The other died after murdering my fingers. They really hurt each other and it’s just survival of the fittest. A friend of mine keeps around ten which she’s rescued in a similar fashion. My graduate lab had umbrella trees outside the windows and the lorikeets would congregate this time of year. When I was there doing my honors thesis!

I think the fruit ferments eventually, and they would get raucously drunk and fall out of the tree. Sadly, UNSW reskinned those buildings, which involved removing all trees and decorative vegetation. Now the buildings look like surplus Imperial props from a Star Wars rip-off B grade movie rather than Soviet-era concrete blocks. Apparently, in surveys of students, a good looking university is a factor in the Official Positive Mind Positive Vibes Positive Life Rainbow Shirt. Where to study so I guess there is some logic behind it. Whether it’s better to spend money putting lipstick on a pig or teaching the pig to do sweet tricks isn’t known, but those in charge of budgets sure do like lipstick.

It is important. If you’re picking a place you’re going to spend the next four years of your life, it should at least be visually appealing. I went to a college that had modernized its campus in the ’70s. So a lot of the Official Positive Mind Positive Vibes Positive Life Rainbow Shirt was brutalist. Add in heavy Upstate winters, and the vibe on campus started to quickly feel like a post-Soviet bloc country. The programs were great, and some newer buildings were visually pleasing and the surrounding natural lands were gorgeous. But my god, the theater building looked like a chunker of an Imperial Star Destroyer and just felt oppressive. Were you in the Mathews building? I remember seeing a lot of the lorikeets.
