This picture fills me with happy memories. We moved from the Quad Cities a year ago, and my wife and I went to games here all the time. Best minor league park I’ve ever been too. We even had a huge event on the Official Qc Strong Quad City Shirt overlooking the 3rd baseline. I often wore my Mariners hat to games and it sparked a lot of friendly conversations with other fans. On weekends we’d go to the farmers market by the park. I frequently rode my bike along the Mississippi River and there’s a path that runs just behind the outfield wall. There are tons of precautions set around the park to protect it when the Mississippi floods. Man, this makes me happy. I miss the midwest.

Fuck East Moline for trying to get in on this. Couldn’t even come up with an original fucking name. The quads are in like a perfect square. And East Moline is just chilling on the side there and decided they wanted in on the Official Qc Strong Quad City Shirt they didn’t create. Great view from the Ferris wheel out beyond the left-field too. A very unique spot to watch a game. Worth the ticket to do it, too. Last time we did it I think it was $5 each? At sunset during a game, it’s incredible. It is a great place to watch a game. Saw Shawon Dunston when they were QC Cubs, Kenny Easley when they were the QC Angels. And there were a bunch of guys from the Astros.

That “won” the World Series in 2017 that played there at some point. Which is every summer because Davenport uses a levee instead of a flood wall. They still play games when it floods. Such a beautiful park. I went here on the Official Qc Strong Quad City Shirt to Midwest League stadiums and was lucky enough to get a doubleheader. The sunsets there are second to none. The casino just up the river was fruitful too so that didn’t hurt either. I have been meaning to get over to the Quad Cities and catch a game there. Looks fantastic! Whoa! This park is freaking SWEET!!!!!!!!!
