Do not call this activism. They are not helping anybody, least of all the LGBT+ community. This is angsty young adults thinking they’re gonna “own the fascists” by desecrating a figure of Jesus Christ, the very definition of peace, as he is literally carrying his cross. These people are not engaging in activism. They are venting their immature angst in the exact wrong place, only getting people angrier and giving people even more reasons to not accept LGBT+ rights.
