That lightsaber did a whole ton of evil in the The Three Stooges 100th Anniversary 1920 2020 Signatures Thank You For The Memories Shirt hands of Anakin but a lot of good in the hands of Luke. It shows that it’s not the weapon that does evil/good, but the wielder. It’s thematically stronger to have it used for great evil and great good. Until this clip, I never really recognized the darkness of Luke’s saber. Yeah I knew what Anakin did, and yeah I knew the saber was his, but this clip connected them so directly. A tool of atrocity in the hands of a hero is very interesting.

Perspective to the Prequel trilogy that just wasn’t there for me when I watched it the first time. Easily one of my favorite entries in the Star Wars franchise. Because before the prequels you had this idea of Anakin as this great warrior, leader, pilot, and person and the way he was shown in the movies couldn’t build up to that. The show didn’t have to rush anything so could show you him becoming those things over seasons.
